If you would, please turn in your Bibles with me to the book of
Romans. You may be seated. Romans chapter eight. Romans
chapter eight. And when you reach the book of Romans chapter
eight, signify by saying amen. We’re going to start with verse
twenty-two and go all the way down to verse twenty-seven. When
you have it shout amen. Reader.
22. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth
in pain together until now.
23. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the
firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves,
waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope:
for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25. But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience
wait for it.
26. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know
not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself
maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be
uttered.
27. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of
the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints
according to the will of God.
Glory to God. We have studied intercession, and we know that it
is defined as prayer on behalf of someone else. But God took me
to another Scripture. Go to Isaiah fifty-nine and verse sixteen.
Glory to God. We’re talking about intercession tonight. And I
believe that the word that is spoken tonight is going to be a
blessing to you. Isaiah fifty-nine and verse sixteen. We’re going
to read verse A, just reading A out of verse sixteen.
16. And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there
was no intercessor . . .
Now go with me to Ezekiel. Glory to God. Ezekiel chapter
twenty-two and verse thirty. When you have Ezekiel twenty-two
and verse thirty say amen. Reader.
30. And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the
hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should
not destroy it: but I found none.
Glory to God. God began to speak to me about intercession and
relating to people praying (glory to God) on behalf of other people.
And God showed me that the spirit of intercession is compassion.
And when we look at compassion, it’s defined as mercy. (
Do you hear what I’m saying?) And being able to suffer on behalf
of somebody else. And you see, the word “compassion” God
showed me it was synonymous with the word “womb.” And when
we look at the word “womb” it is a place of nurturing. It is a place
“glory to God” where you can receive what you need to receive
from God.
And so God was saying that there was no womb to hold His
children. Do you hear what I’m saying? God was not only saying
that there was no womb to hold His children. God said the womb
was non-existent.
You see, you’ve got to understand that as an intercessor God has
called you to be a womb. Come on, somebody. He’s called you
to be a womb to hold and to house His people. He’s called you to
be (glory to God) a nurturer. And that’s why God said He
searched in the land to find somebody that had a womb, and He
looked in the earth and there was no womb to be found. Look at
your neighbor and say, “I want to be a womb.” Oh, come on,
somebody.
A womb is an intercessor. Glory to God. An intercessor’s a
womb to house God’s people. The Bible says in Hebrews chapter
seven and verse twenty-five . . . Go there with me today.
Hebrews seven and verse twenty five. Reader.
25. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that
come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession
for them.
Glory to God. You see, He ever liveth to make intercession for
us. Glory to God. And Jesus is moved with the spirit of
compassion for us, because His womb houses us. Do you hear
what I’m saying tonight? God has sent His Son Jesus, and He is
a womb for us. And the Bible says that He intercedes for us
continually, always.
And God is speaking to the body of Christ tonight. He said,
“Because I’ve called My people to be the womb to house those
that are still looking for Me, to house those that need prayer, to
house those that are still outside drinking and smoking and doing
the things that they know not to do.” Glory to God. But He said,
“In the church,” He said, “I could not find the womb.” Glory to
God. Look at your neighbor and say, “You need to become a
womb.”
When we look at the womb (glory to God), the womb is the place
(glory to God) that shelters and protects. Go with me to Luke
chapter ten. Luke chapter ten. And when you reach the book of
Luke chapter ten signify by saying amen. In Luke chapter ten
look at verse thirty. Reader.
30. And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from
Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him
of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half
dead.
31. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way:
and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and
looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he
was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
Glory to God. He had compassion upon him. Glory to God. In
other words he was going to become his shelter, and he was
going to become his protection.
You see, the womb is a place of shelter. Come on, somebody.
It’s a place (glory to God) of protection. And when you are
praying for other people (glory to God) and you’re housing them in
your womb in the Spirit, you’re becoming a shelter for them, and
you’re protecting them with the Word of God that you’re speaking
over their lives. Come on, somebody in this house.
Go with me to the book of Mark. Mark chapter eight. Glory to
God. You see, we’ve got to understand that we are a womb.
Look at your neighbor and say, “You are a womb.” Yes, you are.
When you reach Mark chapter eight say amen. Reader, verse
one.
1. In those days the multitude being very great, and having
nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto
them,
2. I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now
been with me three days, and have nothing to eat:
Glory to God. The womb is the place of nourishment. Do you
hear what I’m saying? The Bible says that He was moved with
compassion. Remember compassion is synonymous with a
womb. Amen, somebody. And therefore, He became that
nourishment that they needed (glory to God) to be able to sustain
themselves.
And God is speaking to us. He’s saying every time you get down
in intercession, somebody that needs prayer, you become their
nourishment. Do you hear what I’m saying in the house? Oh,
come on, somebody, in this place, because this is a word that
God is speaking to the intercessors in the house. And I don’t
know about you, but God has called me to be an intercessor. I
know that I’m a womb, and I’m housing people (glory to God) that
are already in Christ. And I’m housing people that has not come
to Christ yet. That’s why I’ve got to understand what I am and
who I am in Christ. Give Him praise in this house today.
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Look at your neighbor and say, “You are a
womb.”
Go with me to Mark chapter one. Glory to God. Hallelujah. See,
now you understand intercession. Now you’re beginning to
understand why you are an intercessor. You are holding God’s
people. Come on, somebody. In Mark chapter one. When you
reach Mark one say amen. Reader, verse forty.
40. And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling
down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make
me clean.
41. And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and
touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.
You see, the womb is the place of cleansing. If you don’t
understand that there are people that even reside in this body that
need cleansing . . . And when you begin to pray and you begin to
intercede for them, God begins to cleanse them. Come on,
somebody. God begins to make them whole. Do you hear what
I’m saying? The Bible says that when somebody is sick to call for
the elders of the church, anoint with oil, and pray the prayer of
faith, and if they have committed any sin it shall be forgiven them.
Come on. Somebody’s about to get a revelation in the house of
God. You need to understand that you are a womb. Look at your
neighbor and say, “I am a womb.” Oh, glory to God in this place
tonight. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
Go with me to the book of Matthew. The book of Saint Matthew.
Somebody say, “I understand now.” Glory to God. When you
reach the book of Matthew chapter twenty somebody say amen.
Glory to God. Reader, verse twenty-nine.
29. And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed
him.
30. And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they
heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us,
O Lord, thou son of David.
31. And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold
their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O
Lord, thou son of David.
32. And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye
that I shall do unto you?
Verse thirty-three.
33. They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
Verse thirty-four.
34. So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes:
and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
Do you see what I’m saying? The womb is a place where people
get healed. Do you understand? You see, you begin to intercede
and pray for people for their healing. Glory to God. And
sometimes they get healed by your prayers. Do you hear what
I’m saying? Sometimes they get delivered by your prayers.
I remember my mother. She was a smoker. Do you hear what
I’m saying? And I told her, I said, “I’m going to pray for you, that
you would stop smoking.”
And she told me, “No, don’t pray for me, because I’m not ready to
stop smoking yet.”
But I began to pray anyhow, and next thing you know, she
stopped smoking. Do you hear what I’m saying? It’s the effectual
prayers of a righteous man that availeth much. I understand that
I’m a womb. Look at your neighbor and say, “You are a womb.”
Glory to God. Somebody shout, “Glory.” Glory to God.
You see, an intercessor is a womb that holds God’s people. And
you’ve got to understand who you are. And that’s why God wakes
you up when He wakes you up. Because there’s somebody that
needs prayer that doesn’t know how to pray on their own. There’s
somebody that knows how to pray, but they’ve been through so
much hell, they can’t pray. That’s why I’ve got to know who I am.
Somebody shout, “I’m a womb” in this house. Give Him praise.
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
You see, you’re that womb until it’s time for them to come forth.
Do you hear what I’m saying? Because a womb houses the child
until it reaches a place of maturity. So you are that womb, and
you’re housing people sometimes, pastor, that you don’t even
know. You say (glory to God), “Who is this that I’m seeing in a
vision?” God is saying you need to pray for them. You don’t have
to worry about their situation. He said, “I gave you the Holy
Ghost. All you got to do is start interceding and praying and let
Me take care of the rest.” You just understand who you are.
You’re the womb that’s housing this child right now. Somebody
shout, “Glory.” Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
How many intercessors we got in the house tonight? How many
real intercessors we got in the house? How many wombs we got
in the house tonight? Don’t you know He said He searched for a
man to stand in the gap and to make up a hedge?
The Bible said there’s neither male nor female in Christ Jesus.
You don’t have to be a woman to have a womb. Let me tell you
something. I got a spiritual womb, and I got all kind of folk up in
my womb. Give Him praise in this place tonight. Hallelujah.
Glory to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
I know the Lord has delivered this word tonight. I know that
there’s clarity. I know that there’s understanding in the house of
God tonight. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank You, God.
He said the spirit of intercession is compassion. Compassion is
synonymous with the womb, when you look it up in the Greek.
That’s what it means. And therefore, child of God, you are a
womb, because you have been declared an intercessor. Now
you’ve got to understand that there are souls that are being
housed inside your womb. Somebody give Him praise tonight.
Hallelujah. Glory to God.
And that’s why He’s called us to pray, because somebody prayed
for us. Amen. Somebody else understood who they were and
what they were. They understood that if I hold out a little while
longer in prayer and intercession, their change is going to come.
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
We are the womb. We’re the womb for our children, even after
they’ve been birthed in the natural. Because it’s very rare for the
child to get saved and truly understand their salvation. It has to
be revelated to them. And that’s why they want to go to the
places they want to go, and do the things they want to do,
because they don’t have the full revelation yet. But your prayers .
. . Do you hear what I’m saying? Hallelujah. Your prayers are
what’s going to keep them. So don’t give up. Keep on praying.
Don’t give up on your brothers and your sisters. Keep on praying.
You might not have a good relationship with your mother or your
father. Don’t give up. Keep on praying.
When a baby’s in the womb, I don’t care how much the mother
cries, “I can’t,” she puts those legs in the stirrups, and she keeps
right on pushing. Some of you are saying tonight, “I can’t. I can’t
do it any more.” You need to raise your hands and keep on
praising. Don’t stop now. You’ve come too far. You’ve come too
far. You’ve come too far. You’ve been praying too long.
I’ve been praying too long. Don’t you know I prayed for my
children before they even entered the womb? I prayed for them
while they were in the womb. I prayed for them when they exited
the womb. I know, I know, I know that God has heard my
prayers, and no matter what goes on with them right now, God
has heard. They were in the spiritual womb even before
conception, because I prayed for them. I prayed for them.
Those of you that are single, you’ve been praying for a husband,
or you’ve been praying for a wife, put them in the womb. Don’t
birth them out before time. Because anything premature has
potential to die. Keep on praying. Keep on praying. Don’t stop
now. You’ve come too far. Give Him a handclap of praise
tonight. Hallelujah.
