To experience the ministry of Pastor McKinney is an experience of love, impartation, revival, challenge, impact, and edification. Among many things, he is anointed to usher people into the presence of the Lord, charge their gifts, and empower the people of God through his revelatory preaching and teaching which brings insight into the lives of many.

Provoking the Body of Christ to holiness, deliverance and maturity, Pastor McKinney's ministry has reached various churches, schools, revivals, and conferences; crossing denominational barriers. Operating out of a three-fold Prophetic, Evangelistic and Psalmist anointing, he has reached and touched the lives of hundreds of people including youth, teenagers, young adults and adults as he fulfills the commission upon his life to "prepare God's people..."

He was licensed into the ministry under Bishop Ann L. Hardman, Senior Pastor of Faith Worship Center International, in November 2000, and later ordained as Youth Pastor under Pastor Chris Abernathy in October 2003.

Affectionately known to some youth as "Dad", Pastor McKinney takes on the ministry assignment of being a mentor; assisting those youth who possess the calling of God on their lives for ministry and are hungry for more of God in their lives.

At his home church, True Vine Ministries International, he currently serves as both the Youth Pastor and Praise & Worship Leader. There, he submits himself under the anointed leadership and guidance of his spiritual father, Pastor Chris Pabernathy. He also sits under the teachings and mentoring of Mother Dorothy Boyd-Rush of Chicago, Illinois.
